I don't always have the time to cook anything for breakfast but with fried rice, it's a quick and easy dish that can be made with whatever is in my fridge, pantry, or freezer. Ang paborito naming i-partner sa fried rice is luncheon meat. Recently lang, na-discover ko ang Tulip Jamonilla na bukod sa mas mura sa dati kong binibiling luncheon meat, it's also less salty, less greasy, and has a balanced meaty flavor, and because I’ve been trying to come up with creative and easy breakfast ideas, I made this, what I want to call - Fried Rice Sandwich. The ingredients are Tulip Jamonilla, garlic, carrot, peas and corn mix. The rice is also coated in some light Coco Natura Coco Seasoning which is a perfect all-natural healthy alternative to soy sauce. Para naman bigyan ng sophisticated touch at kakaibang flavor at aroma ang aking fried rice, I also added half teaspoon of Cirio Truffle Extra Virgin Olive Oil. This definitely gave the dish a complex and intense flavor na surprisingly nagustuhan ng anak ko. I just used the Tulip Jamonilla tin as the fried rice mold. Tulip Jamonilla is available in all leading supermarkets nationwide. You may visit Tulip Philippines on Facebook or follow them at @tulipphilippines on Instagram.

Alam kong mag-aagree kayong lahat mga ka-grocery moms when I say that healthy food choices are more important now than ever. Ito rin ang dahilan kaya everytime na mamimili ako sa palengke or supermarket, malaking budget ang napupunta sa mga gulay at prutas. When it comes to fruits though ang bilis bilis lang namin silang maubos. As much as I'd like to buy them at the store all the time, aware din naman tayong lahat na it is still a little worrisome to frequently go to such public places these days. Good thing I discovered an online store that delivers imported and local fruits straight to my doorstep - The Village Green Manila. Their current lineup includes fruits kagaya ng Sweet Globe green grapes, China Fuji apples, Cara Cara oranges, Australian white peaches at ang mga paborito naming toppings for our granola yogurt bowls - Driscoll’s Blackberries, Raspberries and Blueberries. The Village Green Manila also offers some seasonal products like Australian yogurts and fresh milk, Japanese fruit sando and fruit daifuku, plus premium fruit gift boxes. Sa mga ka-grocery moms ko dyan na naghahanap ng healthy, quality, fresh, sweet, tangy fruit, check out @thevillagegreenmnl on Instagram.
If there's one person na nakakaintindi at sumusuporta sa pagiging makeup junkie ko, that would be my hubby, and to my surprise mga ka-grocery moms, last Christmas he gifted me this MAC Tiny Tricks Mini Lipstick Trio in limited-edition neutral shades. I guess gumana yung mga parinig ko na gusto kong magkaroon ng any MAC lipstick as it's been a long time since I had one in my collection. This little lipstick trio is part of their holiday collection last year called, Hypnotizing Holiday 2021. It comes with two mattes - Awe-spicious, a warmy pinky nude and Snappy Go Lucky, a rosey nude, and one amplified lipstick in Sleight Of Grand which is a warm pinky brown color. I've worn them quite a few times already, so here are my thoughts: ●Come in a gorgeous hypnotic optical-illusion packaging ●Easy to apply especially the Sleight Of Grand as it just glides so smoothly on the lips ●All three have impressive colour payoff ●All three can be easily layered ●Sleight Of Grand is not as long-lasting as the matte ones ●The matte ones can be a little drying particularly Snappy Go Lucky ●Awe-spicious and Sleight Of Grand would work on all skin tones I'm very happy to have this trio in my collection. If you look at my lipstick drawer, mahilig talaga ako sa mga minis as they are the perfect size to test if I like the shade and formula, plus I very rarely finish a full lipstick especially that lipsticks usually have a shorter shelf life than other makeup products. Sobra akong na-impress sa packaging and from what I learned, their collections last holiday season were made with recyclable, responsibly sourced paper cartons. Share nyo rin mga ka-grocery moms what your favorite MAC lipstick is.
Hubby got this set at Rustan's The Beauty Source for P900. It's also available at all MAC locations nationwide and online at MAC Cosmetics Lazada Flagship Store. |
