Ever since natikman ko yung Max's Tofu Sisig, super nagustuhan ko sya kaya hinanap ko talaga yung recipe online. Believe it or not mga ka-grocery moms, I would make it at least once a week. Madalas inuulam namin sya for dinner or minsan pa nga we would have it as a snack for our family movie night. I've got to admit though, na medyo nagsasawa na kami sa tofu sisig, kaya naisipan kong gumamit ng ibang main ingredient. Imbes na tofu, I used these crispy paper thin pork belly chips from Papel na Liempo. The ingredients I used are; Papel na Liempo Original, mayonnaise, oyster sauce, bell pepper, long green chili, red onion, calamansi, salt and pepper to taste. Bukod sa nice, crunchy texture nung pork belly chips, it has that savoury, na may konting anghang, and hint of sweetness and creaminess from the mayonnaise. These are actually all the flavors na gustong gusto ko sa isang dish. Share nyo na rin mga ka-grocery moms what you're favorite sisig recipe is.

Aminin na natin mga ka-grocery moms, mahilig talaga ang marami sa atin sa mga deep-fried treats, mapa-chicharon man yan or chicken skin. Bukod kasi sa kanilang crunchy texture, they're tasty at super versatile din. They can be eaten on their own as portable snacks or for pulutan, at pwede ring isahog sa ilan nating paboritong Pinoy dishes. How about a thinly sliced pork, breaded and deep fried to a crisp? Plus come with over 10 flavors pa such as BBQ, Cheese, Saucy Beef, Pizza, and Sour Cream? Introducing, Papel na Liempo! Papel na Liempo offers crispy and flavorful liempo chips na pareho yung texture sa lechon kawali pero yun nga mas maninipis yung hiwa nung pork, so mas madali siyang kainin at perfect as an on-the-go snack. Sa mga kagaya kong mahilig sa mga salted egg-flavored snacks, I highly recommend you try their Salted Egg. Each chip has just the right amount of salted egg coating - really indulgent but not too much that it ends up being nakakaumay. Super nagustuhan ko rin yung sweet and chilli dip nila that goes exceptionally well with the savory thin liempo crisps. They are available in different sizes: Budbod (P79), Sakto (P139), Salo (P199), and Sobra (P259). You can order them online. Just visit them on Facebook at Papel na Liempo or follow them on Instagram at @papelnaliempo. You can also visit their branches in Market,Market! BGC, Robinsons Townville BF Homes, SMRC Bldg., Katipunan, and Aurora Cubao (near corner Seattle St.).
