If you've been following the Travis family aka itsjudyslife on Youtube, you know na Judy's favorite breakfast is an avocado toast. Sa mga ka-grocery moms ko dyan na hindi familiar sa avocado toast, it's an open-face sandwich made with toasted bread topped with either smashed or sliced avocado and a little lemon juice, olive oil, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Pwede nyo rin syang lagyan ng fried egg at sliced tomatoes on top, just like how Judy does hers. Aaminin ko mga ka-grocery moms na nung una ko syang makita, I was a little weirded out dahil ang alam ko lang gawin sa avocado was to make it a sweet treat by adding condensed milk and ice cubes. I also put tapioca pearls sometimes. Believe it or not, it's my 12-year-old son who's also a fan of their channel requested that I make him avocado toast for breakfast, and so I did! I made a somewhat basic avocado toast using six ingredients: avocado, white bread, garlic-flavored margarine, salt, pepper, and egg. For my toast though, I added red pepper flakes on top. Tip lang kung gusto nyo ring gawin ang recipe na ito, choose a ripe but not over-ripe avocado and mash it separately. Also, for a sturdy base and crisp, make sure your bread is golden and well-toasted. I highly recommend you try it as it's healthy, simple, and surprisingly delicious and best of all, it’s super easy to make and ready in under 5 minutes!

To say that I love using skin care products that would help increase radiance and restore vibrancy to my skin aka skin brightening products is even an understatement. Kung titingnan ninyo mga ka-grocery moms ang aking skincare drawer, you'll see na 60% of the products, majority are facial serums are formulated to give my skin that lit-from-within glow. A lot of us may assume na serums can be very expensive, and yes they can. Pero napatunayan ko rin na with facial serums, hefty price tags don't necessarily mean that these products are more effective. Good thing nowadays, there are a lot of affordable options that can still deliver amazing results. With that said, let me share with you my experience using one of the most affordable serums I've ever tried - iWhite Korea Glow Booster Vitamin C Serum. This product claims to help brighten and smoothen the complexion as it's formulated with rich Vitamin C plus an assortment of skin healthy fruit extracts. ●Comes in a nice plastic tube packaging with a tip applicator ●Has a pleasant, light orange scent ●Has super tiny orange beads that disappear into the skin once applied ●Has a slightly creamy texture ●Absorbs quickly into the skin ●Doesn’t leave a greasy feel ●Leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth I use it morning and night, and it does provide a slight glistening effect right after applying it on the skin. It's also one of the few affordable serums I've tried that does not feel heavy or thick, so it's very comfortable on the skin. I've been using it for a month now, but aside from giving my skin a bright appearance, I still haven't seen any improvement in terms of reducing the look of dark spots. Overall, I still recommend it as an inexpensive serum especially if want to achieve a glowing and smooth skin. Got this online at BeautyMnl for P235. I can't say mga ka-grocery moms na I grew up eating peanut butter on a consistent basis. Pero dahil may asawa at anak ako na parehong mahilig sa peanut butter, I've learned to enjoy it hindi lang as palaman, I also like to incorporate it sa mga snacks and desserts, even on some savory dishes. Fix & Fogg is a New Zealand brand that has been selling their award-winning nut butters in different parts of the world including dito sa atin sa Pilipinas. They use the highest quality ingredients to make their nut butters. Just like their Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate. They make it by blending their Super Crunchy peanut butter with rich 60% dark chocolate. It wasn't bitter or too sweet, it has rich, deep flavour, and nice crunch. Perfect sya to drizzle on french toast, pancakes or even sa ice cream. Masarap din syang kainin with fruits especially bananas. Kagaya ng 3-ingredient recipe na ginawa ko yesterday for breakfast. The ingredients are Fix & Fogg Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate, banana, and wheat raisin bread. Bukod sa Dark Chocolate, they also offer other varities like Super Crunchy, Smooth, and Smoke & Fire. They are available in select stores nationwide. To know more, you may visit KiaOra Kitchen on Facebook or follow them at @kiaorakitchen on Instagram.
When it comes to moisturizers mga ka-grocery moms, there are three things I look for; lightweight, hydrating and wouldn't irritate my skin. And these features are present in the newly released product of Celimax, a Korean skincare brand, and much more. This Celimax Cica Soothing Cream is a lightweight hydrating gel-cream which claims to provide intense cooling and soothing for irritated, heated skin. Dalawang linggo ko na syang ginagamit as part of my nighttime routine, so here are my thoughts: ●Comes in a super nice tea green plastic tube with flip-top cap ●Fragrance-free ●Has a soft, nongreasy texture ●Glides on smoothly onto the skin ●Absorbs quickly ●Extremely lightweight ●Leaves the skin feeling hydrated, supple, and smooth This product definitely gives an instant soothing effect on my skin. I also noticed that it helps reduce redness around my nose and improve my skin's texture while also keeping it hydrated. I highly recommend it if you have combination, oily or sensitive skin as this is a lighter moisturizer, plus your skin will benefit from its soothing ingredients. Celimax Cica Soothing Cream is priced at P1,180. If you're interested, you may visit Celimax Philippines on Facebook or follow them at @celimax.philippines on Instagram.
